Later outside the school Keiichi waters the school garden and thinks about how Oyashiro-sama curse has occurred for five straight years.

Seriously, anyone can tell that if you don't like Shion or Rena or Rika's man voice then you are a total 'I only like Higurashi for the frienship' person." "And if they didn't go berserk and only Keiichi did, that would make the whole anime boring cause when people started getting hooked on Higurashi they were into the gore and blood. However, nothing pissed me off more than this argument from her: OMG SHE HAS A CRUSH ON A GUY ONE YEAR YOUNGER A FEW MONTHS YOUNGER THAN HER! SHE'S A PEDO! She also says she hates Mion with Keiichi because she's older than he is and she's had enough of older women with younger guys. She declares that Rena and Shion make it the gory anime that it is. One particularly nasty person is really vehement in her hatred of Mion. Mion sucks because she never succumbed to the Hinamizawa Syndrome and killed anyone? And second, given proper training, a person's fists can be deadly weapons. They just took it out of the anime because she never used it. Okay, first of all, Mion DOES have an airsoft gun. Another person says that Rena actually has a weapon while Mion just uses her fists. The person (who later admits that Mion has her good points) who started the thread said that she can't recall Mion being that smart or going crazy.
Now, I think we can all agree that Rena is awesome, but don't use that to diss Mion. Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they make it clear that Rena holding the school was, I don't know, A BAD THING!? Also, Keiichi actually let Rena win so she'd come out of her homicidal mindset. She also beats Keiichi in a "dual".įirst of all, duel =/= dual. Some of the reasons given are that Rena holds the school hostage and all she has to do is light a match and they all die. Down at the Pit, I was looking in the Higurashi forum section, when I found this little gem in a Keiichi/Rena section, titled "Why Rena is cooler than Mion".
